چکیده

Background:Treatment of recurrent breast cancer, like treatment early-stage is based on consideration tumor biology and clinical history. Thus, characterization hormonal HER2 status critical for all patients, a detailed assessment past treatment, including timing therapies as well patient symptoms functional assessment, essential. Determination hormone receptor should be repeated in cases first recurrence when diagnostic tissue obtained because there may discordance between the primary tumors. Aim study: 1-To determine rate estrogen ,progestron epidermal growth factor2 (HER2) receptors cancer. 2-To study effect patient's disease free survival Patients method: The was conducted retrospectively included 100 Iraqi female patients attended Baghdad oncology teaching hospital January 2012 December 2017 whom , progesteron were known at time diagnosis had been new biopsy recurrence. Results: 1-The are 24%,27%,17% respectively 2-There not statistically significant difference concordant discordant both progestron while form increase factor 2 compared to ones. Conclusion:The ,while gain after associated with better survival.

High Expression of Sphingosine Kinase 1 in Estrogen and Progesterone Receptors-Negative Breast Cancer

Background & objective: Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer related death in females. Sphingosine kinase 1 (SPHK1) and its product sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) are the essential key regulator molecules in breast cancer through their ability to promote cell proliferation, angiogenesis, cell proliferation, and lymphagiogenesis. SPHK1 i...

The hormonal milieu in primary breast cancer: A correlation between steroid receptors and serum estradiol, progesterone and prolactin

Background: The female breast is subjected to a lifetime of hormonal controls, whose effect is evident at the time of menarche and during the menstrual cycle, pregnancy and lactation. Studies have reported multiple risk factors for breast cancer, some of which are a reflection of hormonally mediated events. The steroid receptors are also served as prognostic factors for evaluating status of mal...
